Lynn Benham

Clancy originally came to Mt.View as a student.  As a Mt. View graduate, she naturally has a love for Mt.View and it’s caring environment.  Clancy is a graduate of Fairview High School and is a student at CU Boulder.  Clancy returned to Mt.View in 2016.  Clancy is Pyramid Plus Approach trained and Lead Teacher qualified.  Clancy enjoys spending time with her family on the weekends, and is busy with her CU classes.

Lynn joined Mt View preschool in 2009 when her youngest daughter attended.  She has been on staff ever since, missing one year when her family moved to Prague in the Czech Republic in 2013.  Prior to working at Mt View, Lynn taught at a preschool in Mountain View, CA for four years where she helped to assimilate children with autism and cerebral palsy into the general classroom environment.  Although her years prior to working in a preschool setting were spent in high tech at Sun Microsystems, Lynn realized her passion was working with young children.  She feels there is nothing more important than showing a young person that the world can be safe, fun, and full of friends.  Every experience is new for a child starting the 2/3s program; Lynn loves to watch the incredible growth of each child as they learn through play and as friendships blossom.  She gains immense personal satisfaction by providing early childhood care and education to her community.
Lynn lives in Superior with her husband, 2 daughters and a variety of pets.  She enjoys hiking, boxing, gardening, and traveling. Lynn has a B.S. degree in agriculture business from Cal Poly State University.
